<Cultural exchange with groups from worldwide>
AIFA hosted lots of groups from all over the world such as brass band from Germany, Asian youth orchestra,
Hawaiian dance team, etc.
Among those, in 2004, AIFA co-hosted the Newzealand Canterberry Under-17 soccer team, was one of the great success.
This sports event fostered international exchanges between Newzealand and Ayase citizens through soccer games, homestay,
and varisous cultural parities.
The NZ youth soccer team will plan to visit Ayase city periodically, and we would like to deepen our friendship
toward the future.

Ayase International Speech Festival
Sponsoring by Ayase city and AIFA, the Speach festival executive committee is consists of volunteers of citizens.
In the speach contest, Japanese speech in foreign language, and foreigners speach in Japanese.
Some interesting activities to promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges - Introduction of traditional Japanese culture, World music, Dance, Talking Time and more- , are planed.
More than 200 people get together, and enjoy the event every year.

AIFA plans Oshaberi Salon and World cooking class periodically.
Oshaberi Salon is the opportunity to come into contact with a different culture.
Each time, we pick the theme of the meeting -Japan, China,
Laos,
Cambodia,
Korea,
Bangradesh,
Vietnam,
Argentina,
Nepal, etc. - in advance, and enjoy the cross-cultural understanding.
We have been conducting this event more than 20 times.
Also, World cooking class is the place to experience global dishes and table manner.
The cooking class to learn "Korean Kimchi" is one of the popular event.

AIFA sends non-Japanese citizens to local school in Ayase.
The objective is to let children understand about culture around the world.
Instructor introduces their own culture, people by interact with children with different activities.
